Your Indianapolis business can be greatly improved if you have a team of staff that work together well. They can be the turning point from a business that is going alright and one that is great. AdVenture Games, Inc. has been providing business owners with options to help improve the strength of your team since 2005. This is a terrific way to help your team feel closer and learn how to work with each other on all types of issues that might arise from major projects to small customer related problems. Through fun games we can teach your team how to lean on their strengths and manage their weaknesses.
Indianapolis is growing. The city’s Develop Indy initiative has brought more than 11,000 new jobs. Whether it’s in healthcare, tech or manufacturing – that many new jobs means teams are growing. And with growth, comes growing pains. If you’re trying to ensure that your company continues adding jobs and expanding then you’re going to have to make sure that your staff are a strong foundation for that success. That means it’s time to think about team building activities in Indianapolis. The problem is that you’re busy meeting with investors, chasing down invoices, searching for that next rockstar employee. How do you find time to plan the right team building exercise that will deliver the results you need because you don’t have time for errors?

Team building activities in Miami can be used for more than just employee retention, they can also help decrease stress. A 2023 National Insititue of Health study found a direct connection between increased stress and decreased productivity. So, giving your team the chance to collectively cut loose once per quarter can be an important part of optimizing productivity within your organization.
To further emphasize the benefits, a recent Harvard Business School piece focuses on the correlation between employee creativity and organizational success. Companies exist in both an economy and society that is constantly evolving. The challenges that customers and organizations alike are facing are changing just as much.
It takes a creative, strategic workforce to adapt to these perpetually shifting goal posts and keep your company in the lead against the competition. You’ve got deadlines to meet, milestones to cross and goals to achieve, so, why not turn your next company meeting into a launch pad for your company’s next big idea?
Companies in every industry are all wildly different but they share a couple of things in common:
Your teams work hard in your office everyday, but how hard is that office working for you? Why not give them something fun to do that gets them out from behind their desks and also increases productivity? And best of all, you can do while enjoying the finest of modern comforts: heated central air.
In this escape room style game employees are lured into what they believe to be a one hour seminar in a conference room only to learn that they’ve been trapped and must strategize collectively to escape. Once the clock has started the team must work together to solve dozens of puzzles to get themselves out of the conference room.
With different puzzles requiring different skills, employees must communicate amongst themselves to learn each other’s strengths and weaknesses. This time-sensitive collaboration is sure to improve interoffice cooperation and increase productivity by revealing the hidden potential of every company’s greatest asset: human capital.
Indianapolis is growing economically in more ways than one. The city’s hospitality sector has a lot of new customers to accommodate, which means more items on the menu than ever before. Team building doesn’t stop when our games are over, it requires maintenance. So, here are a few of our favorite places in Indianapolis to make some memories with your team and continue strengthening those bonds:
Where to Eat – If you’re in Indianapolis you’re surrounded by incredible cuisine. There’s a lot to choose from but we picked Rize for one reason: gourmet pop tarts. You read that correctly, they actually have in-house pastry chefs who produce a range of gourmet pop tarts. Try one with your team, you won’t regret it.
Where to Stay – Bottleworks is unquestionably the place to stay in Indianapolis. The sharply designed, modern interior is more than just a pretty sight. The property has something for everyone on your team from the pool table in the lobby and the cocktail bar to the in-house nail salon and coffee shop. You could stay somewhere your team won’t enjoy as much – or you could take our advice and show your staff a good time with a stay at Bottleworks.
Where to Play – Fowling Warehouse is one of our favorite places to blow off some steam and play. They offer fresh food prepared on-site and a full bar. Now, if you’re unfamiliar with Fowling, it’s a mixture between bowling and football. So, while you’re in Indianapolis try something new with your team. If your staff is large enough you can even rent the entire venue.
